Green Line X Fine Malt Collaboration

3/26/2019

In day and age where everyone is collaborating it was time for us to get on board.  Lucky for us right here in our home town state OF Rhode Island, Fine Malt Vintage reached out to us to collab on a new tee design.  Fine Malt Vintage is a store front shop in Cranston, RI. that sells all your vintage apparel, hats and sneaker needs.  The owner Mike Cuddy, was also featured on the Netflix show "Slobby's World" which is a reality show featuring vintage store "Generation Cool" in Tuscon, Arizona.

Green Line x Fine Malt Vintage is the epitome of collabs as we are best of the both worlds; vintage and Celtics.  For this collaboration we are dropping the Pablo tee which features an iconic photo of Pablo Escobar wearing a vintage Celtics corduroy snap back hat.

We are planning to release this design for the 2019 NBA Playoffs.  Since we are collaborating we will offer a few avenues for purchase such as our online shop Greenlineapparel.shop, Fine Malt Vintage store front, and at the release party.  Stay tuned for more specific details on this highly anticipated drop.  All details will be posted on both of our Instagram accounts @greenlinetees and @Finemalt

7/29/2016

Jae Crowder paid homage to his home town of Villa Rica, Georgia by giving away school supplies to the students there.  Jae and his family reached out to us at Green Line Apparel to supply them with 300 of our "JC #99Problems" tee shirts for the event.  The event had an incredible turn out including Amir Johnson of the Boston Celtics and rapper Young Thug who came out to support the cause.  It is always great to see a blessed family give back to their home town for the betterment of the kids. We just wanted to say thank you to Jae, Helen, and the rest of the Crowder/Thompson family for allowing us to be part of the family and this event!  #ItAllStartedInTheDriveway

Celtics Revenge Earlier Loss to Bucks!

2/25/2016

Like most Celtics fans, it took me weeks to get over that Avery Bradley foul with under 1 second in the 4th that prevailed the Bucks to victory.  After that game, I circled today's date on the calendar when the Bucks return to Boston.  Coming off a bad loss to Minnesota where The C's almost squeaked it out with a last second shot from Smart, I knew tonight the C's would come out strong.
The Celtics indeed came out blazing, led by Jae Crowder's 15 first quarter points.  Isaiah was also in all star form scoring and creating easy opportunities for Amir Johnson, who was finally effective on thr offensive end.  The Celtics had a double digit lead for most of the first half, even though Milwaukee went on a big run to cut it to 6 at one point.  The second half was controlled by Boston, and late 4th quarter run by Milwaukee was put to a stop by a beautiful behind the head cross court pass from Isaiah to Crowder for a dagger three point shot!  The Celtics from there managed to hang on and win  the game 112-107.
The Celtics play again at home on Saturday as the C's welcome Dwayne Wade and the Miami Heat to the Garden!  This a big game for the C's as its a battle of #3 and #4 seeds in the East!

Celtics Stay Put at Deadline

Danny Ainge, as I expected keeps the Celtics roster as is.  I am perfectly fine with that to be honest. The C's are the #3 seed in the East and they can still use their roster depth and draft pick assets in the off season, so don't go jumping off the bridge yet if your pissed off at Danny boy!
The Celtics have a 13% chance of landing the #1 pick Ben Simmons, which is very low, but we all seen crazier shit happen right?  Is it possible to trade our Brooklyn pick and a player or two, or other draft picks to move up to 1?  Anything is possible and I'm glad Ainge didn't make a trade just to make a trade.  Let the ping pong balls fall in line and lets see what happens.  By the way.... is the 6 foot 9 inch Brandon Ingram a terrible consolation prize? Thoughts and comments on the Duke Blue Devil?

Celtics Right the Ship!

1/14/2016

The Celtics finally right the ship as they beat the Indiana Pacers 103-94 to snap a 4-game losing streak.  In danger of losing 5 straight games and falling below .500,  the game the Celtics went on an amazing 12-0 run anchored by great defense over the final 1:47.   The Celtics turned to their defense down stretch with 3 steals in a row that turned into easy break away baskets by Amir, Crowder, and Smart.
The Celtics were led in scoring by Isaiah Thomas with 28 points and "Jaesus" Crowder matching his career high with 25 points.  However, the difference maker of the game was "Fear Amir" Johnson stuffing the stat sheet like a Thanksgiving turkey with 14 points, 18 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals.  This was the game the Celtics have been waiting for from Amir.  I am hoping the Celtics gained their confidence back from this big win and can keep it rolling as they will play the Phoenix Suns at the Garden on Friday, and then play at the nation's capital Saturday versus the Washington Wizards.

Green Line Apparel Meet & Greet

1/3/2016

Green Line Apparel was presented with the opportunity to meet the Celtics mascot Lucky the Leprechaun and Jae Crowder at the Garden Saturday!  We designed two shirts the "Jaesus" Jae Crowder shirt and the Lucky Jumpman shirt, and we were able to meet Jae and Lucky and present them with a shirt and take a photo with them.  Crowder also autographed a "Jaesus" shirt for us as well!  It was an amazing opportunity that was given to us and just shows what handwork can do for you!  We are very appreciative for our opportunity, but it will not make us cocky or complacent, it will only make us work harder and want more success!!!  We want to thank everyone for supporting us and believing in Title Town Apparel!

Too Many "Pretty Good" Players!

Why do the Celtics struggle against the bottom feeders of the NBA?  With back to back losses against the L.A Lakers and and the Brooklyn Nets the Celtics are looking for answers!  In Brad Stevens we all trust, but I'm going to help Brad out here.  The Celtics have too much mediocre depth!  We have a lot of pretty good players so Stevens plays 11 guys every game .  Its genius right?
Isaiah, Crowder, Bradley and Turner are the Celtics best offensive players, but often find themselves sitting on the bench for extended periods of time!  Now I'm not an NBA player, but I have played a ton of basketball in my life and I know that basketball is all about getting reps and finding your rhythm on the court.  How can you get any rhythm when you play for 6 to 8 mins at a time then sit on the pine for 15 minutes before you get back in the game?  I have seen many games where Bradley or Crowder knock down a few 3-pointers to start the game then get yanked for Jonas Jerebko and sit on the bench for too long.  Now all rhythm and feel for the game is lost!! With scoring at times is a struggle for the C's, Brad must ride the hot hand more and shorten up the bench to allow players to keep rolling.  Am I right? I'm not delusional am I?
Comment below your thoughts on this player rotation Stevens has going and tell me if you think I out of bounds!  Lets hope the Celtics can bounce back tomorrow and get revenge against the Nets at the Barclays Center!
